About
the Founder
Rett Warren is a member of the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning
Association), and a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist). He is a member of the USA Weightlifting Federation
where he also holds certification as a Level I Club Coach, and
a member of the USA Track & Field association where he holds
a level I certification. A former collegiate football player
and track sprinter, Rett has a bachelors of science degree in
health from Salisbury State University in Maryland. He is the
1998 California AAU (Amateur Athletic Association) Powerlifting
Champion in the 242 lb weight class, and the Raw Bench Press
Champion, with a drug free press of 440 lb with no shirt, or
other assistive gear.
For
the past six years, Rett has worked as a Strength & Conditioning
Coach at several major Division I Universities and National
Football League teams. This includes the Baltimore Ravens,
the University of Maryland, UCLA, where they had 2 bowl appearances,
were PAC 10 champs and had the longest wining streak in the
country with 20 consecutive wins. Prior to that Rett worked
at the University of South Florida, the College of William
& Mary and the University of Pennsylvania where they had
an undefeated season, were Ivy League champs and at the time
had the longest wining streak in the nation with 18 consecutive
wins.
Presently
Rett is a full time Strength & Conditioning Coach at the
United States Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland.
